I have walked in The Weekend to End Breast Cancer, benefiting the Princess Margaret Hospital, for the past few years. I will be walking the 60 kilometres for the fourth time on Sept 8-9, 2007 in honour of my late sister, Karin Missulawin, who succumbed to the disease 11 years ago.

The Weekend is not only a great experience, but the money raised provides funding for critical research that helps all of those struggling with breast cancer. Since it began in 2003, The Weekend has raised over $59.2 million for the Princess Margaret Hospital, which is a phenomenal accomplishment. But as momentous as this is, it will take continued effort and dedication to truly make breast cancer a thing of the past.

And that's why I'm walking again this year, and why I need your support to meet my fundraising goal of $10,000.
