The Weekend to End Breast Cancer is a two-day, 60-kilometre walk through the neighbourhoods of Ottawa.

Proceeds benefit the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, funding important breast cancer research, education, services and care.

I have a personal interest in raising funds for the Ottawa Cancer Centre as my mother passed away from breast cancer 3 years ago. I also have a sister-in-law (and dear friend) whose mother is currently receiving treatment in Ottawa for breast cancer.

As a mother of 4 daughters (& 1 son) and an aunt to 12 nieces (& 8 nephews), I want to help ensure they have a future without breast cancer.
