Support My Journey
As most of you know I lost my Mom to breast cancer - she fought hard for about 11 years but finally lost her fight in 1999. She was a warm, kind, loving woman who was a guiding force in her family and community. My oldest two boys didn't have nearly enough years with their Grandma, and my youngest boy never got a chance to even meet her.
I did this walk in 2006 and enjoyed the experience so much that I have committed to do it again in 2009. It was an amazing experience in which I was able to raise well over $3,000 for a very worthwhile cause!
I am also looking for people to walk with me, and suggestions for a team name. If you can't walk you may want to consider being a volunteer or a crew member.
Personal sponsors - i'd happily wear the name of a loved one who you lost to breast cancer on my T-Shirt.
Corporate sponsors - i'd happily wear the name or logo of your business on my T-Shirt.
