Our team is comprised of six amazing women with one mutual goal, to put an end to the suffering caused by cancer. There may only be six of us participating in the 2-day walk, but behind us in this quest is our family, friends, co-workers and community.
Unfortunately each of us at one point in our lives will be faced with this life changing disease, whether directly or through a loved one. For this reason we have endeavored to walk the 2-day 60km walk. In our thoughts will be those who have fought and lost, fought and won, and those who continue to fight. At the end of the day, a cure is what we hope for, but courage is what we survive with until our hopes are met.
