Thank You for Supporting My Journey

My daughter Ayla, pictured on my lap in this photo is one of the reasons for me participating in the Montreal Weekend to End Breast Cancer for the fourth year. In my first three years fundraising, I have raised more than $ 12,000 for the Segal Cancer Center at the Montreal Jewish General Hospital. I am trying to do what I consider a small part for the future of my daughter and all of her friends of today and tomorrow.
This year I am thriled to have a couple friends and my wonderful husband as part of my team. He is the Rollin' part of the team because he is going to be doing secuity on his motorcycle during the walk.
Everyday researchers are finding better ways to treat cancer patients, preventing cancer from metastasizing, and improving the quality of life for those undergoing treatments. This is where we can make a difference and change the outcome for many. Governments are not able to fund all the necessary research. I believe raising money through this event will help to raise awareness and hopefully get early diagnosis and treatment to those who need it.
