On August 23 and 24 2008 I will be walking in the Weekend to End Breast Cancer. The Weekend to End Breast Cancer is a two-day, 60-kilometre walk through the neighbourhoods of Montreal.

Proceeds benefit the Jewish General Hospital, funding important breast cancer research, education, services and care.

Why am I walking? There are so many reasons, I cannot possibly name them all, but here are a few:
-I have 2 daughters and I want them to be able to grow up without the fear of breast cancer
-1 in 9 women will be diagnosed in her lifetime... who doesn't know and love 9 women?
-I have too many friends who have had a breast cancer scare (even myself) or diagnostic, this HAS to stop.
