Support My Journey against breast Cancer
Hi everybody !
If I write you today, it?s because I?m preparing to surpass myself in a great experience. For a lot of people, it only seems, at first glance, a 60 km sustained walk, but for me, it represents a walk for life. A walk for hope.
This adventure will take place in Montreal, from august 25 to august 26 2012, and actually begins right now. I will walk, next to other thousands of women of different ages, for supporting this cause, which is meaningful for me: the fight, with no stop, against breast cancer. By august, I will have to accumulate 2000 $, an amount that the Montreal General Jewish Hospital will use to finance their research center. They are implicated in this cause since a long moment.
I will walk, like others, to show them that we care about their work. It generates hope for our daughters, for our sisters, for our mothers. I will walk, like others, because we want that tomorrow, breast cancer becomes something from the past. I will walk, like others, in memory of the 5 400 women who will die from breast cancer this year. I will walk, like others, in the name of all the survivor families.
