Help me change the future!

Well, here we go again!! 120 KM under my belt and $6,400 raised over two years and I am ready to go again!!!! I am about to start fundraising for my 3rd year walking the Weekend to End Women's Cancers. This is a two day, 60 KM walk around the city of Ottawa to unite with hundreds of dedicated individuals to END WOMEN"S CANCERS! When asked what my goal was this year I reflected upon my experience over the last two years and decided that it would be so rewarding to raise $10,000 in three years as an individual walker!!! That means that this year I need to raise $3,600 to fulfill that wish!

When I first started running the CIBC run for the cure many years ago, I participated because I wanted to raise awareness of breast cancer after my mother had been diagnosed. After she lost the fight to cancer 9 years later, my efforts in fund raising became more passionate as I wanted a CURE! That's when I started walking the Weekend to End Breast Cancer. Now that I have a daughter and son of my own whom I cherish more than anything else in the world I NEED to see an end to this terrible disease that strips families of their mothers, grandmothers, aunts and sisters. I never want to see my children's lives touched by this disease as it has touched mine. I will NEVER stop walking until there is a cure. Please consider helping me raise $3,600 this year. I know it sounds like a lot but any amount of money will help me get there. Together we can beat cancer!
