For those affected by breast cancer, ovarian and other gynaecological cancers, it is an understatement to say that one of the bittersweet rewards is a deeper appreciation for the time we have with our loved ones.
Through my family's recent experiences, I have a greater appreciation for every day, for family, for great friends and for the kindness of strangers.

For those in the greater Ottawa area, my team the “Cougars Conquering Cancer” is hosting a comedy event at Yuk Yuk’s. Yuk Yuk’s has kindly agreed to donate 50% of all ticket sales to our WEWC fundraising goals. In addition to an evening of hilarity, we will have lots of fantastic prizes up for grabs through our raffle and silent auction.
OH so conveniently, the date is VERY close to Mother’s Day, and a pair of tickets would make an awesome gift ;) Or maybe a thank you to your daycare provider, a helpful neighbour…The options are limitless!

I am auctioning off space on my WEWC T-shirt, and REALLY want to put your business name or logo on it.
2) GIVE YUK YUK’s TICKETS
Consider giving your superstar employee, or one of your clients a pair of tickets to the Yuk Yuk’s event to say thank you. Or give a pair or block of tickets as an employee performance incentive.
3) NEED PRIZES**
We are still collecting prizes for the raffle and silent auction. If you are interested in donating a prize, or $ to buy a prize, or know someone who would donate a prize, LET’s TALK!! As a thank-you for your event support, we will advertise your business name and/or logo all OVER the place so everyone will know how wonderful your business is.
