Walking With My Wonder Women

Over the past year, breast cancer has touched my family and friends in a way I could have never imagined.


I am therefore honoured to be participating in The Weekend to End Breast Cancer (a two-day, 60 kilometres walk) with a group of "wonder women" in an effort to make a difference together.


I am walking for my two oldest friends, Natalie and Katie, whose strength, bravery, determination and positive spirit inspire me. And I am walking for my amazing mom, my hero, whose goodness and selflessness is unmatched. And I am walking for all of us who have or could be touched by this too prevalent disease.


The good thing is that we can make a difference. I have witnessed first hand the benefits gained through efforts such as the one on which we are embarking. I am grateful for the testing, information, treatments and more that have been available. But there is so much more to be done. Every donation will help to advance the cause one step further.


Proceeds benefit The Princess Margaret, funding important breast cancer research, education, services and care.
