Hello and welcome to my page,
On September 11 - 12, 2010 I will be participating in The Weekend to End Breast Cancer for my 2nd time. I will be walking in memory of my cousin Diana, after a 3 1/2 year heroic fight against Breast Cancer, died February 3rd 2006 at the age of 35.
I'll walk 60 kilometres over the course of one weekend with thousands of other women and men. The net proceeds will support breast cancer research, treatment, and services through The Princess Margaret. I hope my efforts will help raise more awareness of how deadly this can be to younger women.
I know this won't help our personal losses, however my goal is that one day I will never have to ask for your donations again! I hope that you'll share this incredible adventure with me - by supporting me in my fund raising efforts.
I will keep my training up from this years walk, by walking 5 - 10 k every day. I have agreed to raise at least $2,000, so I need your help. Would you please consider making a donation (no donation is too small)? Please keep in mind how far I'm walking - and how hard I'll have to train.
