The Weekend to End Women's Cancers is a two-day, 60-kilometre walk through the neighbourhoods of Toronto.
This will be my fifth year participating in the event, formerly known as The Weekend to End Breast Cancer... fourth year as a walker.

BUTTERFLY OF HOPE
This will be my TENTH WALK, but this year I have joined the Butterfly of Hope team, one of six teams of 35, honouring Chad Cieslik.
Chad is an amazing, inspirational man, who has walked in every Weekend event since its inception. In seven years he walked a 2100 km journey to end breast cancer and raised $210,000 to help find a cure.
But now he is fighting his own battle against lung cancer and it's time to look after number one.
The six BUTTERFLY OF HOPE teams hope to raise a total of $420,000 to fund important research for ALL women's cancers, including breast, ovarian and cervical cancers.
Please consider donating to my tenth walk so that I can help achieve Chad's goal!

In 2009, Joseph and I took part in the Ride to Conquer Cancer, a 200 km ride between Toronto and Niagara Falls. We rode in honour of Joseph's friend, Dave Chute, who passed away from colon cancer in April.
The money we raised for this year's Ride is being used to fund research into colorectal cancer at the Princess Margaret Hospital. But we are ON A MISSION. We want to KICK COLORECTAL CANCER IN THE BUTT.
In 2010, I will ride again, in Ontario AND in Quebec, and Joseph will be riding in ALL FOUR Rides (Ontario, Quebec, Alberta & BC) with a goal to raise a minimum of $15,000 by June, but we would like to raise as much as $50,000 for colorectal cancer research, care and education.
