Dear Family and Friends,
For the past 8 years I have walked The Weekend to End Women's Cancers, and I'm so glad that I did. Shoppers Drug MartŪ Weekend to End Women's Cancers benefiting The Campbell Family Institute at The Princess Margaret is not only an amazing experience, but the funds raised through it are providing funding now for research that will make breakthroughs bigger than ever would have been possible without The Weekend.
Since it began in 2003, The Weekend has raised over $123 million dollars for The Campbell Family Institute at The Princess Margaret, which is phenomenal, and YOU played a key role in that accomplishment.
Last year marked my 10th anniversary of being diagnosed with Breast Cancer. This year, we are recognizing Ten Years Strong in our efforts to conquer cancer in our lifetime. But as momentous as that is, it will take continued effort and dedication to truly make breast and gynecologic cancers a thing of the past. And that's why I'm walking again this year! And once again, I need your support.
Whether you would consider donating to support me, to memorialize a lost loved one, to create a better future for the next generations, or for another personal reason, the end result is the same: getting us closer to conquering cancer in our lifetime.
