Be a Part of My Journey, Join My Circle For Hope!
Shoppers Drug Mart® Weekend to End Women's Cancers? is a two-day, 60-kilometre walk through the neighbourhoods of Toronto. It is a personal challenge and I am ready to take on this endeavour to find a cure to breast and gynecologic cancers!
My personal commitment is all about walking because I can! I can walk, I can make a difference and I can walk with you and I can walk for you! This is my second year participating in this incredible journey. I walk for many reasons and two of them are sleeping peacefully in their beds right now, Melissa and Lauren, my beautiful daughters. If I can make a difference for them, why wouldn`t I. I want my children, your children and our sisters, mothers, aunts, nieces, cousins and friends to one day in the very near future to talk about cancer in the past tense!! We need to do our part in this fight together and we need each other to make the difference. I am honoured to have recruited a very dear friend of mine to walk beside me this year....I am so proud to have made a difference with my experience last year that I have been successful in not only raising money but recruiting others to to share this experience with me and create new memories.
