Be a Part of My Journey, Join My Circle For Hope!
Thank you for viewing my personal page. This will be my second year walking the Weekend to End Women's Cancers, and I can hardly wait. Last year's experience of raising funds with other people for a worthwhile cause, and the camaraderie and sense of achievement of the walk itself, has left me eager to do it again. I'm also signing up because I'm selfish...should I, my daughters, my sisters, my relatives or my friends ever be stricken by cancer, I want to know I've done something to ensure that the help will be there.
The Shoppers Drug Mart® Weekend to End Women's Cancers is a two-day, 60-kilometre or one-day 32-kilometre walk through the neighbourhoods of Toronto. I will be walking the two days. It will be a challenge and I am ready to take on this endeavour to find a cure to breast and gynecologic cancers!
This is my way of taking action. You may not be walking, but by helping me raise my pledge you will also be taking action. I can raise funds to benefit The Campbell Family Institute at The Princess Margaret, a leader in the fight against all women's cancers. I can and choose to be a part of this movement to save lives.
