Are you a 10?
I am! A 10 is anyone who is walking with us in the 2012 Weekend to celebrate 10 years strong. Join me to commemorate the monumental decade of difference The Weekend has made for all women.
I am walking in honour of my grandma Betty who just recently passed away May 15th 2012. She was an amazing mother and grandmother. She fought cancer 3 times throughout her life and not once complained about it. She was such a tough and resilient woman. Her cancer recently came back in the Fall of 2011 and spread throughout her body to her lungs, throat, and kidney.
I am also walking on behalf of my best friends mom Jane was was diagnosed with bladder cancer the day before Christmas eve of 2011.
Please help support me as I am walking on behalf of theses two amazing women that have made such a big impact in my life.
My commitment is based on love and my realization that we each need to do our part in this fight. I can walk. I can raise funds to benefit The Campbell Family Institute at The Princess Margaret, a leader in the fight against all women's cancers. I can and choose to be a part of this movement to save lives.
I ask you to join my Circle For Hope. Whether you?re a Survivor yourself or walking for a loved one or walking for all women, it doesn?t matter.
