I was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer on April 3, 2009. In the last year I have undergone lymph node surgery, 8 rounds of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy and 28 radiation treatments.
Each of the members of this team have been touched by this disease either through family members or friends.
We will be walking together this year to raise funds for the BC Cancer Foundation. The funds raised will support the BC Cancer Foundation to provide medical and emotional support to women going through this journey to continue their research on finding a cure for this disease.
