The 2014 Toronto Shoppers Drug Mart Weekend to End Women's Cancers benefiting Princess Margaret Cancer Centre

Fight Like A Girl

OneWalk. One Day. ALL Cancers.

The Shoppers Drug Mart® OneWalk™ to Conquer Cancer benefiting Princess Margaret Cancer Centre is a game-changing movement to conquer cancer once and for all. On September 12th, 2015 I will walk 25 kms through the streets of Toronto, united with thousands of others, knowing that together we are changing the future for all those affected by this terrible disease.

Support My Journey and FIGHT LIKE A GIRL!

The past five years I have participated in the Weekend to End Women's Cancers, walking over 300km and raising over $10,000 myself--our team raising over $140,000! The weekend is amazing, and inspirational (to say the least!) I walked 60km ALONE two years ago year and although it was great to meet some new people, I was happy to have friends beside me in 2014 and I have signed up to walk a 6th weekend and can't wait to gain some new blisters--and meet some more amazing men and women!

I'll walk 25 kilometres in one day with thousands of other men and women. The net proceeds will support research, treatment, and services through The Campbell Family Institute at The Princess Margaret for breast and gynecologic cancers.

According to the National Cancer Institute of Canada, approximately 20,500 Canadian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, and about 5,400 will die from the disease.  There are many other cancers that also affect women, and that is why I'm walking....to do something bold about women's cancers. I hope that you'll share this incredible adventure with me - by supporting me in my fundraising efforts.

A close friend of mine is a survivor and I have joined her team "Fight Like A Girl!", so take the time to check out our team page and help us make a difference! The team started out in 2009 with two women, then in 2010 and 2011 we grew to 17+ members.  I need your support.

Thank you in advance for your generosity!

All donations over $10 will receive a tax receipt!

Sincerely,
Sandasha
